A consistent branding strategy across all customer contact is vital for any companies marketing strategy. This is why StrideLinx provides several ways to configure your company identity for the StrideLinx Cloud. You can make it look as if it is your very own IoT Platform.
We distinguish three levels of custom branding: White Label Basic branding, White Label Premium branding, and White Label app branding. White Label Basic branding enables you to apply your own company identity (Company logo, custom color scheme, etc.) to the StrideLinx Cloud. Additionally, White Label Premium branding enables to make the StrideLinx Cloud even more your own. You can set a custom URL and change the support information to your own product support department. All StrideLinx logos will be removed if you choose to use White Label Premium, allowing you to market our service as if it is your own. And, you also receive the router faceplate artwork so that you can customize the router to your brand. White Label app branding enables you to make the StrideLinx iOS and Android mobile apps as your own.
White Label Basic branding
White Label Basic is available free of charge for all StrideLinx Cloud users. This enables you to set your own company name, logo, favicon, mobile app touch icon and color scheme. Your custom branding setting will be applied through all apps of the StrideLinx Cloud, emails by StrideLinx and the StrideLinx mobile app. You can make changes to the company branding by following the steps described below:
- Go to the StrideLinx Cloud Admin which is accessible from the Apps menu
in the top right corner if you are currently in a different StrideLinx Cloud app. - Open the Admin
, go to Identity, then select the branding entity you would like to customize. - The table below contains a list of the entities you can change.
- Press [confirm] to apply the changes.

Image requirements
Images up to 10MB can be uploaded. The following formats are supported: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .bmp, .tiff, .ico.White Label Premium branding
White Label Premium (SE-SL040) enables additional branding options, essentially making it your very own IoT platform. You can set your own custom StrideLinx Cloud URL, for which we'll automatically generate the necessary SSL certificate.
The entire StrideLinx Cloud platform can be branded with your custom corporate identity using a combination of the basic (free) and premium branding options.
In addition, you will receive the files to customize the faceplate of the StrideLinx router with your corporate color scheme and logo. The necessary files for customizing the router faceplate will be emailed to you within 24 hours after your SE-SL040 activation code purchase.
Activate Premium branding
You can purchase a premium branding activation code at AutomationDirect.com, part number SE-SL040. You can activate the Premium branding license by following the steps described below:
- Go to the StrideLinx Cloud Admin which is accessible from the Apps menu in the top right corner if you are currently in a different StrideLinx Cloud app.
- Open the Admin, go to Identity , then select White Label Premium "Activate" button.
- Enter the activation code which was sent to your email address following the SE-SL040 purchase from AutomationDirect.com.
- Select Edit as seen below to add the custom domain name.
- Enter the custom domain name. The custom domain name must be a subdomain of a domain you already own. For example, insight.mycompany.com would be a valid subdomain. The custom IoT platform login would be https://insight.mycompany.com.
- Update the DNS record with the CNAME entry as shown.
- Return to this screen after 24 hours to confirm the CNAME record has been correctly set by clicking Validate.
- Finally, click Activate and your custom domain name will be active within 2-3 business days.
White Label App branding
Mobile app branding enables you to make the StrideLinx iOS and Android mobile apps your own. You specify the app name, logo, app images, and app information. The mobile app process details provide all the details involved in creating your own mobile apps.
An annual maintenance license is required in order to keep your app up to date with security settings as well as with Apple and Google Play app requirements. The purchase of SE-SL050 includes the initial setup of the app and the first annual maintenance license. Subsequent years require the purchase of SE-SL051.
Activate White Label App branding
You can purchase a premium branding activation code at AutomationDirect.com, part number SE-SL050. Be sure to read the mobile app process details before you purchase your license.
You can activate the Mobile App branding license by following the steps described below:
- Go to the StrideLinx Cloud Admin which is accessible from the Apps menu in the top right corner if you are currently in a different StrideLinx Cloud app.
- Open the Admin , go to Identity , then select White Label App "Activate" button.
- Enter the activation code which was sent to your email address following the SE-SL050 purchase from AutomationDirect.com.
- Within 2 business days you will receive an email to begin the Mobile App Branding Wizard which will walk you through the creation of your iOS & Android mobile apps.
- Upon completion of the Mobile App Branding Wizard, your app will be published on Apple app store and Google Play. From completion of the wizard, the app stores normally take 3-10 business days to go-live. The wizard will provide the links to your published apps which can be shared with your employees and customers.
