The localization settings determine in which language the StrideLinx Cloud is portrayed and allows you to set a time zone for your account. To change these settings please follow the steps below.
- Go to the StrideLinx Cloud, open the account menu in the top right corner, and select [My profile].
- Go to Preferences and configure your preferred settings.
|Language||Changes the display language of the StrideLinx Cloud.|
|Localization||Determines the date and time format and decimal separator used in the StrideLinx Cloud and Cloud Notify e-mails. (e.g. If localization is set to "English (United States)" the time format will be 12-hour, the date format will be MM/DD/YYYY and the decimal separator will be a decimal point.)|
This will change the displayed time that is used in your StrideLinx Cloud account. You will see events in the audit trail, emails, machine data and every other mention of time in this timezone.
WarningWhen the time zone is set to automatic, the date and time are retrieved from the browser. A CSV export will use this time zone. But when a Cloud Notify message is sent, no browser is involved and UTC will be used as the time zone. Retrieving data by using the API will always use UTC.
