When an important event happens in your StrideLinx Cloud company, you will be notified.
What do I get notified about?
Not everyone in your StrideLinx Cloud company will be informed about important events. Below is an overview of who gets notified about which type of event.

How do I get notified?
By default you will be notified by a message in your StrideLinx Cloud, an e-mail in your e-mail inbox, and a push notification on your mobile phone. The latter requires the StrideLinx Portal mobile app to be installed and for you to have logged in at least once.
You may also be notified in other manners (SMS, call, etc) by third party services if someone in your company has configured this using a webhook.
Can I filter these messages?
Yes. You can create filters if you do not wish to be notified about one or more of these events or in one or more of these manners. You cannot create filters for other users.
Notifications from third party services can indirectly be filtered in the StrideLinx Cloud. You can filter which messages are sent to the third party service by creating a filter and selecting Don't send webhook. This needs to be configured in the user account that has set up the webhook to the third party service. Further filtering, if desired, will need to be done within the third party service itself.
- Go to any of the StrideLinx Cloud apps' main page, like the Portal.
- In the top right corner, go to your Messages and open the settings .
- Select Configure filters and click on Add new filter.
- You can also use an existing message as starting point by opening a message's optionsand selecting Filter messages like these.
- Enter the desired criteria and actions (details below) and click on Confirm.
Field Description Criteria Enter the criteria. If multiple criteria are entered, they all need to be true for the action to be taken. If at least one of the entered criteria is false, the action will not be taken. Action Select the action(s) that need to be taken. This only applies to new messages.
You can also turn off push notifications for each of your personal devices.
- Go back to any of the StrideLinx Cloud apps' main page, like the Portal.
- Open the account menu in the top right corner and go to My profile > Preferences.
- Under Push notifications you can turn notifications on or off.
