Problem
Error message "Installation not found" when attempting to set up a VPN connection in Google Chrome, while the StrideLinx VPN Client actually is installed.
Cause
In Microsoft Windows, certificates are located in different folders (stores). Google Chrome's latest update (Version 105.0.5195.127) includes a change where it only looks in the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" store and no other stores.
During installation, the StrideLinx VPN Client installs its certificate in the "Trusted People" store.
Solution
StrideLinx VPN Client version 1.4.1 contains a fix for this problem. The VPN Client now installs the certificate in the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" store, which resolves the issue of Google Chrome not being able to find the VPN Client certificate.
The VPN Client can be downloaded directly from the StrideLinx Cloud. At the bottom of your window a prompt will be shown to download the new version. You can also manually download it at Fleet Manager > Tools > VPN Client. Once downloaded, execute the installer and follow the instructions on your screen.
