Connect to your Schneider PLC

Once you've registered your StrideLinx router to the StrideLinx Cloud and connected your Schneider to one of the LAN ports, you're ready to remotely access it.

1. Set up a VPN connection to your StrideLinx router.

You can now use EcoStruxure Machine Expert (SoMachine), EcoStruxure Control Expert (Unity Pro), CODESYS, or other Schneider software to connect to your Schneider.

   EcoStruxure Machine Expert (SoMachine)

   1. Open EcoStruxure Machine Expert and click on Application (MyController) in the Applications tree.
   2. At the bottom, select IP address as the Connection Mode and enter your Schneider's IP address.
      
   3. Connect to your Schneider as you normally do. If you're unable to connect, try the following alternative method instead:
   1. Right-click the Schneider tray icon on your Windows taskbar and open the Gateway Management Console.
   2. Go to the Static Remote Connections tab, enter your Schneider's IP address with port 1105, and click Add connection.
      
   3. Connect to your Schneider as you normally do.
   EcoStruxure Control Expert (Unity Pro)

   1. Open EcoStruxure Control Expert and go to PLC > Set Address.
   2. Under PLC, Select TCPIP at Media, enter your Schneider's IP address at Address, and click OK.
      
   3. Go to PLC > Connect to connect to your Schneider.
